Vintage Indian Saja-Style Cabochon Statement Belt

A spectacular vintage statement belt inspired by the richly ornamented traditions of Indian adornment. The wide metallic band features a dimensional diamond-patterned surface, anchored by an extraordinary oversized oval centerpiece covered in intricate scrolling metalwork and polished cabochon stones.

At its center sits a dramatic deep wine-red agate stone surrounded by smaller agate cabochons in amber, agate, cream, caramel and smoky earth tones. Tiny beaded metal clusters and elaborate engraved detailing give the centerpiece the appearance of an antique ceremonial ornament of scrolling floral motif.
